Glad that it's friday. I've been to the gym every week this week, so, that has made me feel good, and tired at the same time ^^ Also, i'm looking forward to having a few days off work. Its a little annoying that during those days off (monday/tuesday/wednesday), that I can't really travel anywhere, but its okay.

I'm having a f**king fantastic day! I went to the doctor's, got my stitches out, had lunch at 김밥나라, got my haircut, and died my hair black ^^ After work, I went to a recently opened restaurant called 상무회관, which specialises in Galbi. I had 된장지께 there, and it is the best I've eaten in Korea!

Tomorrow, I can start going to the health club again, and start geomdo again, so I'm really looking forward to that ;)

Also, before seeing 용두암, the bus driver took us to a place where they sold a lot of souvineirs... I bought some things the day before at 삼성혈 (orange/cactus chocolate, t-shirts, mini 돌하루방) bought some 오미지차 at 성읍마을 ^^

Its been one week since i had my small surgery. Its feeling okay, and i will go to see the doctor again today. I think I will get the stiches out next week.

I really miss the gym and doing Geomdo, but I'm going to Jeju this weekend, so it wil be good ;)

Just starting this...

Just started the blog, so that i can post random, and not so random things about my adventure in South Korea. I've been here since October 2005, teaching English in a small town in the countryside of Jeollanam-do, which is in the south-west corner of South Korea.

As time goes on, I'll add stuff from the past (almost) 2 years of my time in Korea, and talk about current things as well.

Well, September has started. I think, as you get older, time goes faster - or at least feels like it ^^

I had a minor operation friday, to remove a cyst from the back of my left shoulder. All up, the surgery took about 35 minutes. Its a little bit sore now and then, but nothing too bad. Its just really annoying that I can't have a shower!

I had dinner with 관장님 and his family last night. 사모님 makes the best 갈비 ^^ Today I went to Gwangju in the afternoon, to buy a book for a student, and to do some quick shopping at Emart. Nothing to special. Just usual stuff.
